‘Don’t care if law comes in way of memorial’ – Manohar Joshi

Maharashtra News : Amidst controversy over building the memorial of late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray at Shivaji Park, senior leader of Shiv Sena Manohar Joshi clearly stated that Shiv Sena and their Shiv Sainiks would not shift from its stand irrespective of legal implications.

Manohar Joshi had attended a condolence meet here at a Mumbai suburb where he said to the media that, “We don’t care if any law is coming in the way to raise Balasaheb’s memorial at Shivaji Park.”

It was Joshi who first raised his voice of the demand for late Thackeray’s memorial at Shivaji Park ground where the Shiv Sena supremo used to address party rallies on Dussehra and many other events.

Last week, Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan stated that the state government is not going to bend or break any law for building the memorial of late Shiv Sena supremo. Joshi was referring to chief minister Prithviraj Chavan’s statement.
