Iconic railway station ‘CST’ marks 125 years

Mumbai News: On Friday 10 May 2013 the historic railway station Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus has completed 125 years. Known for its magnificent style, this building was built in 1888. The building exhibits a fusion of influences from Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and traditional Indian architecture.

The station stands for its advanced structural and technical solutions.

The then students of J .J School Of Arts had created the model of this structure. This building attracts a lot of tourists, be it from Mumbai or the foreign tourists.
