Spot fixing scam linked to D-Company?

In the spot fixing scam it has come in forth that, this scam is linked to the D-company.

The sources informed that, the two bookies, Jupiter and Jiju Poken who were arrested are also associated with D-Company. Also, the Additional Commissioner confirmed that names of five more bookies have come in forth in this case.

Chandresh Chandbai Patel, Mandal Bhupendra Bhatt, Amit Ramgovind Singh, M.S Nair, Biju Upendra Janardan are the names of the five bookies.

Shreesanth’s father alleged that, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh has framed Shreesanth. He demanded that, both Dhoni and Harbhajan must be arrested. On the other hand, Ajit Chandila’s mother said that, “False allegations are made against Ajit.”

The Delhi police have arrested three Rajasthan Royals players Shreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila for spot fixing.

Shreesanth was arrested from his friends place at Mumbai, while Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila were arrested on Wednesday night from Hotel Trident.

The Delhi police have also arrested seven bookies from Mumbai and three bookies from Delhi. The Delhi police are looking out for two more bookies.

Rajasthan Royals also issued a statement in which they said that they are shocked by the development.

“We have been informed that three of our players have been called in for investigation on spot fixing in matches. We are completely taken by surprise. We do not have the full facts at this point and are unable to confirm anything.

“We are in touch with the BCCI on this matter. We will fully cooperate with the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation. The management at Rajasthan Royals has a zero-tolerance approach to anything that is against the spirit of the game,” the statement said.
