Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni today said that his side will have to adapt quickly to the challenge of playing under the new ODI rules outside the sub-continent for the first time if they want to win next month’s Champions Trophy. But the Indian skipper evaded questions on the IPL spot-fixing scam.
The ICC Champions Trophy will be held from June 6 to June 23. India is in group B and will play against Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies in the league match. The Indian Skipper has assured that this time India will bag the Champions Trophy. He also said that the team is ready for its match against Pakistan on June 15.
Rattled by the spot-fixing allegations, BCCI has turned to Odisha Cricket Association’s Ranjit Biswal to ensure players maintain discipline and abide by strict rules of behaviour during the Champions Trophy.
